The
Music Man plays out the eternal battle of the sexes in the
great, all-American, classic musical comedy. Into River City, Iowa comes
handsome and roguish ladies' man, Harold Hill, with a grand scheme to
con the town. Little does he know, he's met his match in the unfashionably
smart and uncommonly beautiful town librarian, Marion Paroo. Add to
this the charming and hilarious antics of small town turn-of-the century
life and you have Americana at its silliest and most heartwarming.
